About MightyGoods

MightyGoods aims to share stories and knowledge from the most interesting and experienced people from all over the world. We talk with adventurers, nomads, athletes and other people who live life to the beat of their own drum.

Sharing stories and knowledge, we hope that you and all the other readers will understand that experiences are worth so much more than material possessions – and that experiences makes you more happy than buying stuff you don’t need.

Hopefully you will also learn a thing or two from the many tips that are shared in the interviews. Tips that will help you with your own adventures – whether you have just started planning your journey or you are in the middle of a fantastic journey.

Recommend someone

Over time we have build a nice list of people we want to talk with, but feel free to contact us to recommend someone (there are surely lots of exciting people out there that we haven’t heard about, so please don’t hesitate to write).

You are also welcome to write if you have done something interesting yourself and have a story you want to share.

The backpack directory

Besides the interviews (which you can really learn a lot from!), we have also started making a directory of backpacks.

We are making the directory to help you find the perfect backpack, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time reading reviews etc. (like the 5-6 days one of us recently wasted reading reviews because he had to buy a new running backpack).

My daytime job is in programming (maps and geodata) and before that, I was chief cyclist at the cycling site Icebike.org.

I coach a small running group, do some bouldering (climbing) and love cycling. Most of the time I’m in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I believe that it’s good to go beyond your comfort zone, so I’m obsessed with adventuring and travel.

Lately, I’ve been hooked with people sailing around the world. I think sailing is incredible and challenging. Not only physically, but also mentally.

Nothing beats being outside, so I’m into trekking and camping with my tent as often as possible.

Sportwise I run and practice yoga (mostly at home, it’s more flexible than attending classes).

Pictures and drawings

The pictures and drawings on MightyGoods mostly come from adventurers and sportspeople that we have talked with. Some are our own pictures and drawings and finally there are some that come from various photo subscriptions that we have access to.

Please send us an email if you think we are using pictures or drawings in a way that isn’t allowed. We will then remove them or give you proper credit.
