If you need to carry lots of stuff under your saddle for bikepacking or commuting, the Altura Vortex Seatpack is light, waterproof and very good value for money. You need to be careful how you set it up to get the best out of it though.

Easy to mount and excellent waterproofing, but one size doesn't fit all. Altura may need to refine its design to compete.

If you want your bag to be properly waterproof then a roll-top is the way to go, and the Altura Vortex 25 is a solid example of the genre. It has a decent harness and it's pretty comfortable on the bike too.
