Reviews Summary

Here's what the reviewers think about the Deuter Fox:

Reviewers like these things about the Deuter Fox

  • A durable and reliable backpack that is long-lasting tool. It is designed so well that it can grow when your kids grow.
  • It is the backpack which is best of its kind and it is very simple and easy to use. It comes with full harness adjustability.
  • Its internal frame is sturdy enough with U-shaped wire and X-shaped stays. These are reliable and of top quality.
  • It is literally a top load pack so you can have lid on top of that. When it comes to flexibility, it provides stability and easy load transfer over the hip belt.
  • There are two padded foam stripes on the back of pack. They are designed well to provide added comfort and stability. It accompanies with ventilation channels and air flow. It covers the whole structure with very durable and breathable 3D AirMesh.
  • The anatomic hip belt adds flexibility and comfort with bi-laminate foam. It eventually reduces weight by removing the hip belt. It follows you when you move with pivoting VARI Flex. It distributes the load evenly to the hips and adds more freedom in movement.

Reviewers don't like these things

  • The hip belt padding is quite thin and it also lacks hip belt pockets so you cannot carry anything on them.
  • For bag or sleeping pad, it lacks compression straps.
  • You also have to buy a separate rain cover.
  • As it is designed for kids and teens, it is not suitable for grownups.
