Reviews Summary

Here's what the reviewers think about the Gregory Verte:

Reviewers like these things about the Gregory Verte

  • A compact, tough alpine backpack which is best suited for on-route jobs.
  • It can easily stuff in its top pocket and stow in your large pack.
  • It is simple to go along with you on quick summit. The waist belt webbing and removable foam frame sheet enables it to be even more streamlining when losing weight.
  • It is fine for the price range of around $45. It can hold your shoes, harness, some water and food, chalk bag, small trad rack, quick draws, lockers, assorted slings, and racking biners.
  • You can easily carry it along for a long time with just 10 pounds of gear and balance is okay on it. It is very lightweight and gets the job done for what it can do.
  • It is a streamlined top loader suitable for day hikes and instant alpine tours.
  • It has enough room for gear and ice tool retainers and dual daisy chains provide exterior storage.
  • You may remove the waistbelt and inner foam framesheet to slash down on grams when weight is the concern.
  • It is a durable and super light pack and a good choice for its price.

Reviewers don't like these things

  • If it had a strap to secure the rope under lid and minor compression system, it would be better.
  • The keeper strap and hydration port on shoulder strap will just add a room for hydration tube.
