Magpedition Lunada will strike you first with its strong stitching. It is double stitched so you don’t expect any seam issue even after stuffing your bag with all the items you need for travel. The bag has three main compartments: the biggest being well accessible from the top.

The Lunada's front lower pocket with divider provides you with great organization – it has elastic organizer loops, drainage grommet, and key retention.

The Malaga looks tough, rugged and adventure ready. It has 10 zippered compartments for easy organization. You get tons of additional places to hang your gear – elastic cord, Velcro, and “D” rings. Just like the Lunada, it comes with one single strap that has reasonable padding.

The two backpacks have a front zippered pocket and two rows of molles. Remora's pocket, however, is ideal for keeping small items that need quick access while Lunada's is broad enough to be a Maxpedition pocket organizer. They both feature a padded rubberized mesh back with a snap pocket.

Regarding height, Lunada is higher which makes it more in-depth and this adds an extra zippered compartment. Despite being smaller, the Remora's chamber is still impressive regarding capacity. It is big enough for a five-litre water bottle.
