The Gambit and the Renegade are more similar than they are different. The pockets and organizational compartments are almost identical. For both bags, the external bags are padded for worry-free storage of phones, cameras and other expensive items.

Both have spacious main compartments, although the exact measurements slightly differ. Ogio Gambit's volume maxes at 2050 cubic inches while Renegade's biggest model has a volume of 1800 cubic inches. Much of the internal space difference is explained by the laptop suspension in the Renegade bag.

Different materials are used in the construction of either bag. The Gambit is built with 420D Polyester Oxford material. The Renegade is made from 600D Polyester Pindot (more robust material). This bag also seems to be more closely knit than the Gambit, which makes it feel thicker and tougher.
