Each of these frameless and lightweight outdoor backpacks are ideal for protecting and storing smaller amounts of gear for shorter outdoor excursions. The Osprey Eja and Osprey Aura backpacks share the essential features of a 65-liter overall carrying capacity, an Anti-Gravity™ suspension system, an integrated FlapJacket™ for greater weatherproof surface protection, and multiple organizational pockets for additional storage.

The main source of difference between these fairly similar bags is apparent in the Osprey Eja's removable floating lid, in addition to its additional bungee cord ice axe attachment and integrated sternum strap safety whistle (located on the strap buckle), which are visible on the front-facing exterior of the bag.
