The Flap series was designed for the trendy student and daily commuter who needs a classic, clean-looking, pack with modern storage features.

The FlapJack and FlapJill are brother and sister. Osprey made every effort to provide you lady, and you gentleman, with a stylish backpack to help you stay organized every day.

Osprey FlapJack, the men's version features a simpler but more functional structure. The FlapJill is more detailed and has more enhanced chic looks so that it can fit and feel well on ladies. Both packs are made with Polyspun fabric which is rugged and impressively durable. But the FlapJack is a little bit bigger (more capacious) than his sister. Both have a zippered top slash pocket that provides more storage.

The Pack handles 17" MBPs just fine, and isn’t limited to 15" laptops. It isn’t as stunningly perfect as its courier sibling, but this laptop backpack will gulp down bulky items for a not-bulky price — and look hot doing it.

Like most of Osprey’s creations, the Flap Jack is very light, feathery to the point of having made me wonder about the bag’s sturdiness — but after a month of heavy use, the Flap Jack is yet to show any signs of wear.
