Osprey Ozone vs Osprey Farpoint

While the Osprey Ozone and Osprey Farpoint are made by the same manufacturer, and for a fairly similar purpose, the two backpacks are distinctly different in terms of structure and design.

At a glance, one might notice that the Ozone is a mid-large-sized rolling luggage bag, while the Farpoint is a drastically-different standard luggage backpack. At the cost of its overall maneuverability, the Ozone's design distributes the bulk of its weight on the ground than on the user's back.

As a standard backpack, the Farpoint's design is more attuned to the traveler on-the-go. Despite their drastically different mechanisms of operations, both packs feature similar volumes and are great, design-forward choices for the casual traveler.

Her Packing List

The size is just right to keep me from over-packing and I always love it when I can zip through the airport while everyone else tries to handle their 50-lb suitcases. I would highly recommend my backpack for long term travel!

Her Packing List

I would definitely recommend the Ozone 36, especially for light travelers. Even though it is a rolling bag, I haven’t had any trouble using it on cobble stones (if it gets too noisy, just use the padded grab handles and carry it like a suitcase), and if you live out of your bag on a road trip, the built-in organization makes it very comfortable.
