Overall, the Otterbox Defender for the iPhone 7 Plus is an excellent choice for people with an active lifestyle or professions that put your phone at risk for damage. The Otterbox is one of those cases that if I were to drop my phone I wouldn’t gasp and cringe in fear because I know it’s thoroughly protected.

Overall, the S7 Edge Otterbox Defender is a very solid choice for protecting your investment. I can accept a minor inconvenience to protect my phone. However, if your main concern is texting or social media, this may be too frustrating. I’m eager to see if the screen problem is corrected, but until then I will keep my new S7 Edge safe in its new Defender series case.

The case’s rugged design make it attractive and it looks very nice on the phone. It can stand up to almost anything, except water. The case is not waterproof, so don’t try to go swimming with your phone.

If you’re like me, and use your iPhone running and on a bicycle on a regular basis, it may be worth it to you. However, for the average user, this is not a case you’ll want on your phone every day and is something that you’ll just break out for special occasions. If you want something that’s very sturdy and still easy to use every day, the OtterBox Commuter or Impact may be a better choice.

The Defender is available in four colors for the iPhone 3G/3GS. It costs$49.95. The price may seem steep, but when you consider that it may save your iPhone, it’s a small price to pay.
